The Charman Partners family wish to acknowledge the death of John Barson who passed away on 24^th May 2023 at the age of 94. John worked with Johnson Barson & Co, a precedent firm to Charman Partners, for  over 41 years and was a Partner in the firm from 1957 until he retired from the practice in 1988. Despite leaving the practice he continued to look after the accounting and tax needs of many friends and clients for a further 28 years. John possessed a wealth of knowledge which he was always happy to share with his colleagues and his friendly and engaging manner was appreciated by many.
