About Me
I was born and raised in windy Wellington, the capital city of New Zealand. I graduated from Victoria University in Wellington and commenced my audit career with a big 4 chartered accountancy practice. I went on to become a mum to two gorgeous sons, and when my youngest son was two we moved to Australia and have been very happy to call Australia our home!
I have worked in audit (either internal or external) in New Zealand and in Australia for the last 28 years, in both chartered accountancy practices and in industry.
What Do I Do At Charman Partners?
I have been the audit manager at Charman Partners since 2008 where I manage a mean, lean and efficient audit team. Our audit workload comprises predominantly the audit of self-managed superannuation funds, not-for-profit audits, real estate and solicitor trust account audits, and audits of large incorporated associations.
What Do I Do For Fun?
Unfortunately I am obsessed with shoes, and hand in hand with my shopping addiction, my shoe collection has grown to epidemic proportions – to such an extent that I have been nicknamed Imelda!
